I founded Frontline Fire Training Ltd because I saw a clear gap in how fire safety training is usually delivered.

Multiple years working as part of an Enhanced Fire Response Team (EFRT) in a complex NHS mental health and community hospital setting (2023–2026), I responded to real alarms, supported evacuations, used equipment in controlled situations and used extinguishers to tackle small fires in real incidents as well as helped train staff under genuine pressure. I also completed multiple fire safety, fire marshal, and extinguisher courses myself — and I’m currently finishing a Level 3 Award in Education and Training to ensure I can teach even more effectively.

What struck me was how many of those courses felt theoretical and disconnected from reality. They often left people unsure, uncomfortable, or simply not trained at all — even though fire safety is a legal duty under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRFSO). I spoke to dozens of staff and managers who should have had training but hadn’t — either because the courses didn’t feel relevant, were too long or intimidating, or simply weren’t prioritised. That gap puts lives, property, and organisations at risk over something that should be straightforward, practical, and confidence-building.

That’s why I started Frontline Fire Training Ltd: to deliver short, proportionate, awareness-based training that feels real, relatable, and useful — drawing directly from frontline NHS experience. Our courses focus on practical knowledge, calm decision-making, and clear actions, so your team feels prepared rather than pressured.
