Social Value Statement
Frontline Fire Training Ltd
Version 2.1
Last updated: Aug 13, 2026
1. Purpose
This statement explains how Frontline aims to create positive local, social and environmental value through its normal business activities and through commitments agreed for specific contracts.
2. Local business
Frontline is based in Bodmin, Cornwall and delivers on-site training across the South West. Where suitable and commercially reasonable, Frontline uses local and regional suppliers while also considering safety, quality, availability and cost.
3. Accessible and proportionate training
Frontline aims to:
• provide practical, in-person training that supports safer workplaces;
• discuss reasonable accessibility adjustments during booking;
• provide a supportive learning environment without pressure-based assessment;
• provide an observation option for practical familiarisation; and
• issue clear attendance records.
Responsibilities for venue accessibility and site arrangements are shared with the client as set out in the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Statement and Booking Confirmation.
4. Charities and not-for-profit organisations
Eligible registered charities, CICs and other not-for-profit organisations may be offered preferential pricing. No fixed percentage applies automatically. Any reduction, eligibility conditions and limits will be agreed for the specific booking and confirmed in the written quotation. Frontline will honour any separate written promotional or partner offer according to its stated terms.
5. Environmental responsibility
Frontline aims to reduce unnecessary environmental impact through proportionate measures such as using digital documents where practical, planning travel efficiently, reducing avoidable waste and disposing of used training materials responsibly. Further details are set out in the Environmental Responsibility Statement.
6. Public procurement
Where a tender includes social-value requirements, Frontline will consider the outcomes and measures requested and propose commitments that are relevant, measurable and proportionate to the contract. Agreed commitments and reporting arrangements will be confirmed in the tender response or contract.
7. Measurement
Frontline will record social-value outputs only where they are actually delivered or required, such as:
• eligible discounts applied;
• contract-specific local expenditure;
• agreed accessibility actions; or
• contract-specific environmental or community commitments.
Frontline does not routinely collect participant diversity data. Any contract-specific monitoring will be agreed in advance and limited to information that is necessary, lawful and proportionate.
8. Review
Review annually and whenever the discount policy, staffing, service area or procurement commitments materially change.
